Itinerary highlights for the 1-day Workshop

November 1st:
Short presentation on Day of the Dead and Giant Kites of Guatemala. A photographic exploration of Day of the Dead and the Giant Kites plus the festivities of All Saints Day in the Mayan graveyard of Santiago Sacatepéquez and the Necropolis of Antigua Guatemala. Also, there will be Fiambre salad tasting for lunch; a dish made only for Day of the Dead. Rate: $200 per person.

Bring lightweight clothing and comfortable walking shoes because you’ll spend lots of time on your feet.

 

Itinerary highlights for the 2.5-day Workshop

Day 1: (Oct 31)
Day of the Dead presentation explaining everything that we’ll experience in the following days. Afternoon/night photo walk to capture the spirit of Halloween and Day of the Dead in Antigua Guatemala.

Day 2: (Nov 1)
A photographic exploration of Day of the Dead and the Giant Kites plus the festivities of All Saints Day in the Mayan cemetery of Santiago Sacatepéquez and the Necropolis of Antigua Guatemala. Also, there will be Fiambre salad tasting for lunch; a dish made only for Day of the Dead.

Day 3: (Nov 2)
Photo exploration of Day of the Dead and the Giant Kites plus the festivities in the Mayan villages of Santa Maria Cauque and Sumpango,

Bring lightweight clothing and comfortable walking shoes because you’ll spend lots of time on your feet.

  • Visas and travel insurance (required)

Cancellations & Refunds
Deposits are non-refundable.  For refunds, we require that a cancellation request in writing be received at least 91 days before the photo tour and workshop begins. If we receive your written cancellation request 91 days before your photography workshop begins, and we can refill your space, we will refund all payments, minus your reservation deposit and any discounts given to refill your space.  If we cannot refill your space, we will refund 50% of all payments, minus your reservation deposit.  No refunds are given, nor cancellations allowed, 90 days or less before your photo tour begins.  No partial refunds are given for unused services.
