Back in November 2014 I was contacted by the design group in charge of producing the Minnesota Magazine to make some editorial portraits and photographs of Dr. Steve Humbert and his work in Guatemala through Common Hope. Dr. Steve Humbert has been making dental service trip Guatemala, 17 trips so far. I learned by reading the article written by Lynette Lamb, the author, that “…on most of his trips to Guatemala, which he does under the auspices of St. Paul-based nonprofit Common Hope, he takes along some of his fourth-year dental students.” Below you can find the photograph they chose for the story and a few other from the photo session.
