To get the natural authentic look, I chose to surprise Fofo, so, I made a few decisions in my head and then set the camera as I approached from his blind spot. I decided to go with portrait orientation and wide open diaphragm to diminish the busy background. Additionally, I used a 3-stop ND filter to cut down the excess light. Furthermore, I prefocused at 3 feet in manual mode. When I was ready, I kneeled and called his name. I only shot one frame. This is it; what you think?
