Just as we are so lucky to have an amazing selection of orchids, we are also very fortunate in Guatemala to have just a many kinds of lilies. If we call Guatemala the land of a thousand flowers, we would be selling ourselves short because I am sure we have tens of thousands.
By the way, this lily is growing very happily in our garden, flowering almost everyday. The flowers only last for a few hours, so you have to be on the look out to catch them as I did here.
