Empecé las caminatas fotográficas en Antigua Guatemala el mes pasado y hasta el momento han sido todo un éxito. El sábado pasado tuvimos casi 50 fotógrafos entusiastas compartiendo nuestra pasión por la fotografía y La Antigua Guatemala. Tuvimos la suerte de habernos encontrado al Arq. JM Magaña, un antiguo conservador de Antigua Guatemala y gran conocedor de las restauraciones en la ciudad colonial. También nos encontramos a la cineasta y documentalista Ana Carlos.
Considerando las experiencias hasta el momento puedo decir que las caminatas fotográficas son una excelente manera para mí de compartir todo el conocimiento aculado a través de publicar AntiguaDailyPhoto.com por más de 7 años todos los días. Tendremos otra caminata fotográfica en julio por si te interesa acompañarnos. I started the photowalks in Antigua Guatemala last month and so far they have been a total success. This past Saturday I had nearly 50 people sharing the passion for Antigua Guatemala. We were lucky because we encountered Architect JM Magaña, a former conservator, and one of the people who know most about restorations and history of the Antigua Guatemala. We also met Ana Carlos, a director and filmmaker who has produced over a dozen documentaries about Guatemala as well as a television show entitled Entrémosle a Guate with Harris Whitbeck Jr.
All in all, the photowalks are excellent way for me to share the accumulated knowledge found in AntiguaDailyPhoto and learn new stuff from the other photographers as well.
